We design one frame, six times a year.
Mareframes started in a small workshop in Switzerland, with a simple question: what would happen if we made one frame, properly, and then made it again?
Every Mareframes is cut from a single block of Italian acetate, then shaped, smoothed and polished by hand. The lenses are CR-39, treated for glare and ultraviolet. The hinges are stainless steel. The rivets are brass.
Each pair is discreetly numbered on the inner temple — yours alone, guaranteed for two years, and built to outlast the next trend.
